Certification Programs

FCPM delivers an increasing number of nationally-recognized and international Certification Programs in management. Graduates of these programs receive an official certificate issued by the Florida State University.

Government

• Certified Public Manager Program
  The Certified Public Manager (CPM) program is a nationally-recognized, comprehensive training and development program for public sector managers. The goal is to professionalize the practice of public management.

• Certificate in Supervisory Management
  The Certificate in Supervisory Management (CSM) is given after completing the first four Levels of the CPM Program.

• Certificate in District Management
  Since 2006, FCPM has partnered with the Florida Association of Special Districts to provide the Certificate in District Management (CDM), which consists of a four-day course and a project to improve Special District services.
  
  

Business

• Certificate in Organizational Management.
  The Certificate in Organizational Management (COM) program is a comprehensive leadership and management program aimed at private-sector companies. The COM program is currently being taught in the Middle East; it is also offered to private companies in the United States. Clients include Caterpillar, General Motors, Vodafone, Etisalat, and DHL Worldwide.

  This is a comprehensive program designed to help Executive Leaders meet the challenges of a changing world. This program includes 12 days of training in: Leadership, Teamwork, Mentoring, Innovation, Strategic Thinking, Performance Management, and Systems Thinking.

Non-Profit Organizations

• Certificate in Non-Profit Management (CNM)
  FCPM is developing a new comprehensive leadership development program aimed at executive directors and staff in non-profit organizations. This is envisioned as a joint certification program, with graduates receiving both their Certified Public Manager (CPM) and Certified Non-Profit Management (CNM) designations.
